FINAL ORDER
FACTS:
1. The complainant sought information as to under what criteria sl. No. 20 (Paradhi caste in Kutch district) was recommended from Government of Gujarat for deletion from Scheduled Tribe list and guidelines for preparation of research study/survey for specification of community as Scheduled Tribe has been prescribed and what are the criteria followed under such specification. The CPIO gave point-wise reply, which was upheld by the FAA. Being dissatisfied, the complainant approached this Commission.
Decision :
2. The officer stated that the file pertaining to the proposal of 1981 from Government of Gujarat for deletion of Paradhi caste in Kutch district from Scheduled Tribe list, was retrieved and provided to the appellant.
3. The appellant alleged that the information furnished was incomplete.
4. The Commission directs the CPIO to search for the related files again and provide the relevant documents, if any, within 21 days from date of receipt of this order. Disposed of.
