Section 46(7)(b) in The M.P. Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1976

(b)[The Head of Office] [Substituted by Notification No. FB-6-1-77-N-II-IV, dated 1-2-77 (w.e.f. 1-8-1976).] shall immediately on receipt of the nomination referred to in clause (a), countersign it indicating the date of receipt and keep it under his custody.
