Pillaivayal Sivagangai District based on the receipt of the payment in
connection nos.200054510425608 and 2000545111251942.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner’s house situated at D.No.1431/E8/A, Kamatchi Nagar, Near Ayuthapadai Kudiyiruppu, Paiyur Pillaivayal, Sivagangai District.
2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the construction has been made on Government poromboke land, and other houses which are located nearby have already been provided with electricity service connection.
3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that since the construction has been made on Government poromboke land, service connection has not been effected so far.
4. Considering the aforesaid facts, the respondents are directed to provide electricity service connection to the writ petitioner’s house, subject to the petitioner executing an indemnity bond.
