Section 1 in Karnataka Universities of Agricultural Sciences Act, 1963
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called [the Karnataka Universities] [Substituted by Act 14 of 1986 w.e.f. 1.10.1986] of Agricultural Sciences Act, 1963.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State of Karnataka] [Adopted by the Karnataka adaptation of laws order 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973].(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [Act came into force w.e.f. 24.4.1964.] as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
