Section 20 in Gauhati Municipal Corporation Act, 1971
20. Constitution of Standing Committee.
- There shall be Standing Committee dealing respectively with -(i)Taxation and Finance, and Planning and Development (or Standing Finance Committee);(ii)Public Works;(iii)Public Health, Conservancy and Water Supply;(iv)Assessment, Markets and Trades;(v)Appeals.
