ORDER
Shri Rajpal Bhadoria, Appellant, through his application dated 6.01.2010, sought the following information under the RTI Act, 2005 from the PIO/Addl. Deputy Commissioner of Police, North Distt. Delhi:
1. Type of duty performed by SI. Shri Krishan, arrival and departure report with GD No., Place of duty and period of duty (Fromto ) on dated 07.9.09 and 04.10.2009 respectively.
2. Copy of GD (Rojnamcha) No.48 dated 2.1.2010.
3. Salary Certificate.
Shri R.K. Jha, PIO/Addl. Deputy Commissioner of Police, North Distt., Delhi, vide his letter dated 4.2.1010 replied to the Appellant as follows:
1. P.S.I. Shri Krishan, No. D4403 has reported in North District from Police Training College for A,B,C & D course on 18.9.2009.
Accordingly, he was posted in P.S. Kashmere Gate, Delhi for practical training. No specific duty was assigned to him. As per available record he was under practical training in P.S. Kashmere Gate, Delhi on 4.10.2009. The question for dated 7.9.2009 does not applicable as he has reported in P.S. Kashmere Gate on 18.9.2009.
2. The copy of D.D. No. 48B dated 2.1.2010 of P.S. Kashmere Gate, Delhi has been obtained from SHO/Kashmere Gate duly forwarded by ACP/Kotwali, North District, Delhi and the same is available in this office duly certified. If you need the copy of D.D. entry, referred above, containing one page, you have to deposit Rs.2/ @ 2/ per page, permissible under the RTI Act, 2005 in this office.
3. P.S.I. Shri Krishan, No.D4403 is presently allocated to Security Unit for pay purpose. Hence, your application is transferred to Security Unit under subsection 3 of section 6 of the RTI Act, 2005 for further necessary action.
Not satisfied with the reply, the Appellant filed an appeal before FAA./Dy. Commissioner of Police, North Distt. Delhi in which he pleads that the Appellant alongwith his wife and son visited Gangaur, Haryana residence of PSI Shri Krishan and he was present at his home at that time i.e. on 4.10.209. Dr. Preet Sagar, FAA./Dy. Commissioner of Police, vide his order dated 5.3.2010 has disposed of the appeal with the observations that PIO, North Distt. has provided the requisite information to the Appellant within the stipulated time permissible under the RTI Act, 2005.
After hearing the Respondent and on perusal of the relevant documents on file, the Commission finds that requisite information available on record and permissible under the RTI Act has already been furnished to the Appellant, hence no interference is called for in the reply of the Respondent.
With these observations, the matter is disposed of on the part of the Commission.
