(The Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J) The Writ Petition is heard through video conferencing.
2. The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 7 to prevent Page No.2 / 5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis/ W.P. No.10913 of 2020 any kind of encroachment or any blockade over the 24 feet Panchayat Road lying on the eastern side of the petitioner-company at Plot Nos.98, 99, 100, 101, Krishna Industrial Estate, Mettukuppam, Vanagaram, Chennai 600 095.
3. It is the submission of Mr.C.Umashankar, learned counsel for the petitioner that in pursuance of the order of this Court, dated 30.04.2021, the encroachment made by the eighth respondent has been removed and in this regard, he relied upon the status report filed by the third respondent.
4. Mr.E.Om Prakash, learned Senior Counsel, appearing for Mr.G.Veepathran, learned counsel for the eighth respondent would state that the petitioner has encroached public road and there was no encroachment made by the eighth respondent. However, the third respondent without putting on notice on the eighth respondent, removed the gate put up at the entrance of the eighth respondent's Company.

5. In the light of the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, we are of the considered opinion that nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, it is closed. No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
