Section 23(1) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965
(1)No person shall convene, hold or attend any public meeting, within a ward of a municipal area on the date or dates on which poll is taken for an election from that ward.
