1. The reply filed on behalf of the respondent is taken on record.

2. The petition for transfer is sought by the wife on the ground that she is not adequately provided for and she has a child who is staying with her and it will be difficult for her to accompany the child every time to the Court at Jalandhar where the case is pending. Admittedly, the respondent/ husband is living away in a foreign country and it ought not to TA No.231 of 2012(O&M) [2] make any difference for him if he attends the Court at Jalandhar or Amritsar to which Court the petitioner seeks for transfer. Although the respondent/husband states that he is taking care of her financial needs, I find that where appropriate logistic connections are available, there should not be any difficulty for the husband to have the case conducted before the Court at Amritsar.

2. The matrimonial proceedings between the same parties pending before the district Court at Jalandhar is ordered to be withdrawn and transferred to the district Court at Amritsar for disposal in accordance with law.

3. The parties shall appear before the district Court at Amritsar on 23.10.2012.
