11-12-2024 Heard Ms. P Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.
2. As this application is arising out of POCSO Act, 2012, the petitioner shall serve a copy of this application to the Public Prosecutor, Gauhati High Court, Guwahati for service of notice on the respondent No. 2/informant of the case through the Registry of this Court during the course of the day, obtaining necessary acknowledgment from it in terms of the Notification No. 17 dated 15.03.2024 of the Registry of this Court.
3. Thereafter, the Public Prosecutor, Gauhati High Court, Guwahati through the Officer-in- Charge of Jorhat Police Station shall serve a copy of this bail application on the respondent No.2/informant of the case.
4. On the next date, the Officer-in-Charge of Jorhat Police Station through the Public Prosecutor, Gauhati High Court, Guwahati shall apprise the Court about the status of service of notice on the respondent No.2/informant.
5. Call for the up-to-date scanned legible copy of the case records of Special (POCSO) Case No. 46/2024 arising out of Jorhat Police Station Case No. 262/2024 along with the copy of the relevant case diary, from the Court of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), Jorhat.
6. List on 23.01.2025.
