22. The Deans.
(1)The Deans of the University shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, with the approval of the Chairman of the Board, from amongst the Faculty of the University.(2)The Deans shall assist the Vice-Chancellor in managing the academic and other affairs of the University and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed by the regulations or be entrusted to them by the Vice-Chancellor.
