46. Cleaning of spittoons.
- [The spittoons mentioned in clause (a) of rule 45] [Substituted by ibid. West Bengal Factories Amendment Rules, 1991.] shall be emptied, cleaned and disinfected at least once very day : and the spittoons mentioned in clause (b) of rule 45 shall be cleaned by scraping out the top layer of sand as often as necessary or at least once every day.
