Section 240 in Bihar Board's Miscellaneous Rules, 1958
240. Christmas holidays.
- In accordance with the instructions of the Government of India regarding the Christmas holidays, the 24th (or the 23rd, if the 24th is a Sunday), the 26th, the 27th and the 31st of December will in future be included to class (ii) and be notified under the Negotiable Instruments Act to be public holidays and the 28th, 29th and 30th of December will be included in class (iii) and be announced as holidays in Government offices.
