Hon'ble Pankaj Purohit, J.
By means of present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:-
"(i) Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to the learned Trial Court to hear the Revision No.1 of 2022, Nagar Nigam Roorkee vs. Mohlad Singh & others, in the court of Commissioner Garhwal Division Camp Dehradun expeditiously within some reasonable time.
(ii) Issue writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the parties to Revision No.1 of 2022, Nagar Nigam Roorkee vs. Mohland Singh & others, in the court of Commissioner Garhwal Division (Pauri Camp) Dehradun to maintain the status quo in the property in dispute till the disposal of the aforesaid revision no.1 of 2022, Nagar Nigam Roorkee vs. Mohlad Singh & others in the court of Commissioner, Garhwal Division Camp, Dehradun."
2. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that respondent no.3 is not interested in pursuing the hearing and proceedings in the suit filed under Sections 33/39 of the Land Revenue Act, which is pending before the Tehsildar, Roorkee, and intends to keep the proceedings in abeyance, despite there being no 1 stay or interim order in Suit No. 33 of 2017-18. He further contends that the ancestors of the petitioner and other plaintiffs were recorded tenure holders, and that the correction of the new land revenue records, in respect of the same, is the subject matter of the pending proceedings.
3. An innocuous prayer has been made by learned counsel for the petitioner/plaintiff in the present writ petition to direct the Commissioner Garhwal Division Camp Dehradun to decide the Revision No.1 of 2022, Nagar Nigam Roorkee vs. Mohlad Singh & others, expeditiously in a time bound manner.
