Section 181(1) in Siliguri Municipal Corporation Act, 1990
(1)All streets and public places, squares, parks, and gardens not being the property of, and kept under the control of Government of the Board of Trustees for the improvement of Siliguri including the soil, sub-soil and the side-drains, foot-ways, pavements, trees, stones and other materials, implements and other things provided for such streets and other public places, which are situated in Siliguri shall vest in the Corporation.
