Section 58(1) in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964
(1)By President's Standard and the like. - The President's Standard shall always be worn at the main, the flag of an Admiral or the broad pendant of a Commodore if necessary, being shifted to another mast or ship as the case may require.
