84. Demarcation of land required for private irrigation works and estimate of cost.
(1)If the Collector considers that the application should be granted he shall require the applicant to deposit within such time as the Collector may specify, the estimated cost of demarcation of the land which in his opinion it will be necessary to occupy for the construction of the work, and, when such deposit has been made, the Collector shall proceed to demarcate such land and frame a preliminary estimate of the cost of acquiring it under this Act.(2)If such deposit is not made within the specified time the Collector may dismiss the application.
