                            ORDER

% 04.03.2021 The present matter has been taken up for hearing by way of Video Conferencing on account of COVID-19 pandemic.

The present habeas corpus petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, has been instituted on behalf of the petitioner praying as follows:

(a) Issue a Writ/Order/Direction in the nature of Habeas Corpus and any other writ justful production of the husband of the petitioner namely Sh. Ram Mohan Gupta;

(b) Issue an appropriate Writ/Order/or Directions to the respondents to immediately release the husband of the petitioner from detention.

Mr. Gaurav Kumar Bansal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that subsequent upon the institution of the present writ petition, Mr. Ram Mohan Gupta, the husband of the petitioner has been released by the Jail Authorities; and that the present petition has thereby been rendered infructuous.

No further directions are called for. In view of the foregoing, the present writ petition is disposed of as having become infructuous.
