Section 31(1) in Sher-I-Kashmir Universities of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Act, 1982
(1)Extension Education Programme shall be established in the University and shall subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, make useful informations based upon findings of research available to farmers and others to help and solve their problems. It shall conduct demonstrations and training programmes for the benefit of students extension workers, farmers and home makers. Extension Education shall be co-ordinated with the other functions of the University and other appropriate agencies of the State.
