(1)Passes for the import, export or transport of excisable article may be granted by the Excise commissioner [or by an Excise Officer duly empowered in this behalf] [Inserted by Rajasthan Act 38 of 1957.]subject to such restrictions as the [State Government] [Substituted by Rajasthan Act 38 of 1957.] may impose in this behalf from time to time.
