Section 43(1) in New Town, Kolkata Development Authority Act, 2007
(1)All public streets, bus, taxi or rickshaw stand or other parking or transportation terminals, squares, parks and gardens within the area of Now Town, Kolkata including the soil, sub-soil, side-drains, footpaths, pavements, stones and other materials, and all erections and trees provided therein shall vest in the Development Authority.
