Section 13(1) in Minerals (Other than Atomic and Hydro Carbons Energy Minerals) Concession Rules, 2016
(1)No mining operations shall be undertaken except in accordance with a mining plan, which:(a)has been approved by any officer of the Indian Bureau of Mines duly authorised in writing by the Controller General, Indian Bureau of Mines, pursuant to clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 5 and in accordance with rules 15, 16 and 17 of these rules; or(b)is in accordance with the system established by the State Government for preparation, certification and monitoring of the mining plan pursuant to the proviso to clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 5.
