Section 1 in The U.P. Primary Education Act, 1919

1. Short title, extent and construction.

(1)This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Primary Education Act, 1919.

(2)It extends to all the municipalities of the Uttar Pradesh.

(3)It shall be construed as part of and supplementary to the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916, hereinafter called the principal Act.
