Section 33(1) in Tamil Nadu Hackney Carriage Act, 1911
(1)The [Deputy Commissioner] [Substituted for the word 'Commissioner' by section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Hackney Carriage (Amendment) Act, 1964 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1964).] shall cause to be prepared a list in English and Tamil or other vernacular language of the fares published under section 31 and shall annex to such list a table showing the distances between the principal places to and from which hackney carriages commonly ply. The distances so shown shall be presumed to be correct.
