Section 4(1) in Pharmacy Council of India Regulations, 1952
(1)The Council shall ordinarily meet once in a calendar year on such date and place as may be fixed by the President:Provided that the President(i)may call a special meeting at any time on 15 days' notice to deal with any urgent matter requiring the attention of the Council;(ii)shall call a special meeting on 15 days' notice, if he receives a requisition in writing signed by not less than 10 members and stating the purpose for which they desire the meeting to be called, such purpose being other than that mentioned in the first proviso to Regulation 8 (1) (b) and being a purpose within the scope of the Council's functions.
