1. Short title and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Karnataka Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes (Reservation of Appointments, etc.,) Act, 1990.(2)It shall come into force on such [date] [Act came into force w.e.f. 1.6.1992 Vide notification No. SWL 217 SAD 90(p-1) dated 19.5.1992.] as the State Government may, by notification, appoint.
