Section 2(b) in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Travelling Allowance Rules, 1955
(b)[ The Speaker shall be eligible for travelling allowance -(i)for journey 7 performed for attending Conferences or Committees of Presiding Officers of Legislatures whether held inside or outside India;(ii)for journeys in connection with visiting other Legislatures either inside or outside India; and(iii)[ for journeys performed anywhere in India for participating in any public function or official function or for receiving civic address.]]
