Section 202 in The Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
202. Vesting of public streets in Corporation.
- All streets within the City being, or which at any time become, public streets, except streets, which on the appointed day vested in the [Government] [This word was substituted for the word 'Crown' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] or which after the said day may be constructed and maintained by an authority other than the Corporation and the pavements, stones and other materials thereof shall vest in the Corporation and be under the control of the Commissioner.
