Section 11(ii) in U.P. Kshettra Panchayats and Zila Panchayats (Erection and Re-Erection of a Building or Making or Enlarging of a Well Within a Controlled Rural Area) Rules, 1974
(ii)Every room except store shall for admission of light have at least one window, opening directly to open air, or in an open varandah. The aggregate open area of all the windows shall not be less than 10 per cent of the floor area.
