Section 11(1)(j) in The Bidhan Chandra Krishi (Viswavidyalaya) Act, 1974.

(j)to make financial provision for instruction, teaching and training in such branches of learning and courses of study as may be determined by the [Faculty Council for post-graduate and undergraduate studies concerned] [Words substituted by W. B. Act 31 of 1981.] within the purposes of this Act and for research and advancement of dissemination of knowledge in such branches of learning;
