Section 53(2) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(2)On and from the appointed day, the control and management of the North Bengal campus, research stations, sub-stations and Krishi Vigyan Kendra referred to in sub-section (1), and all properties and assets, movable or immovable, and all liabilities of the former University in relation thereto shall stand transferred to, and vest in, the University.
