Section 22(1)(ii) in The National Security Guard Rules, 1987

(ii)in case the officer is eligible for pensionary benefits under the pension rules, order such reduction in the pension or other pensionary benefits of the officer as the Government may consider to be just and proper in the circumstances. (2) The Central Government may accept the resignation under sub-rule (1) with effect from such date as it may consider expedient :
