140. Maintenance of registers and records [Rule 296, U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Rules].

- The Bhumi Prabandhak Samiti shall maintain the following registers and records for the collection of land revenue assessed on the village and its remittance to Government treasury :I. Bahikhata or jamabandi giving the following details :Village.................. Pargana................ Tahsil............ District...............
(a)Serial Number.
(b)Name of tenure-holder.
(c)Demand of each instalment.
(d)Collections-
(i)date of collection,
(ii)cash-book number,
(iii)amount.
(e)Rebate, if any, earned.
(f)Arrears at the close of the year.
(g)Remarks.
II. Cash-book or siyaha giving the following details :Village.................. Pargana................ Tahsil............ District...............
(a)Serial Number;
(b)Date of payment with number of receipt;
(c)Date of entry in bahikhata, and the serial number of bahikhata;
(d)Name of payer ;
(e)Amount paid;
(f)On what account (whether land revenue or other dues and Fasli year and instalment);
(g)Remarks.
III. Receipts and counter-foils specifying the following particulars:Village.................. Pargana................ Tahsil............ District...............Book number...............Receipt number...............
(a)Date of payment.
(b)Name of payer.
(c)Amount paid.
(d)On what account (whether revenue or other dues, and Fasli year and instalment).
(e)Whether in full or part payment.
