9. Power of the Competent Authority to sanction or refuse erection or re-erection.
(1)The competent authority shall refuse to sanction the erection or re-erection of any building, if it is in contravention of any of the provisions of these rules.(2)The Competent Authority may sanction the erection or re-erection of any building either absolutely or subject to such modification in accordance with these rules as it may deem fit and one copy of the sanctioned plans shall be sent to applicant.(3)The intimation of sanction or rejection of the building plans shall be given in Form 'D'.
