75. Rules for prevention, treatment and control of certain diseases.
(1)The Government shall have power to make such rules as they deem fit for the treatment of persons affected with any epidemic, endemic or infectious disease and for preventing the spread of such diseases and the rules may declare by what authority or authorities such rules shall be enforced and executed.(2)[ In the event of the contravention of the provision of section 75A of the Act continuing beyond a period of seven days from the date of imposition of daily fine of Rs. 50/- under sub-section (1), the Health Officer shall request the concerned local authority to suspend or cancel the construction licence issued to the contractor till such time the contravention continues and the concerned local authority shall act accordingly.] [Inserted by the Amendment Act No. 22 of 2006.]
