Section 16 in The Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj Rules, 1996
16. Admission to polling stations.
- The Presiding Officer shall regulate admission of voters at the polling stations and shall exclude from it all other persons except -(i)Polling Officer, if any ;(ii)Police Officers and other public servants on duty ;(iii)Each candidate or his authorised agent ;(iv)A child in arms accompanying a voter ; and(v)The companions of blind or infirm voters who cannot move without help ;(vi)Official authorised by the Election Authority ;(vii)Any person who may be called in by the Presiding Officer to help him to identify a voter or to render any assistance.
