Section 98 in The Medicinal And Toilet Preparations (Excise Duties) Rules, 1955
98. Application to be submitted.
- The exporter shall present to the officer-incharge or the proper officer, as the case may be, an application in triplicate in Form A.R.-3 if the goods are to be exported by land and in From A.R.-4 if the goods are to be exported by sea or air or by parcel post. The officer-in-charge or the proper officer shall send the original to the customs officer or the border examiner or the postmaster, as the case may be, at the place of export, deliver the duplicate to the consignor and retain the triplicate as office copy. A separate application shall be submitted in respect of each consignment.
