Section 234 in Andhra Pradesh Rules Under the Registration Act, 1908
234. Indexing
(1) The Computer-aided Administration of Registration Department system maintains the Indexes I and II, specified in Chapter XIX, automatically in respect of all documents registered under the Computer-aided Administration of Registration Department system and also the documents registered manually but whose details are posted into the computer in pursuance of the sub-rule (3) of Rule 233.(2)Copies of the digital data of the Indexes may be maintained in such manner and in such number of copies and at such places as the Inspector General may specify.
