The writ petitioner complains of discrimination after participating in a selection process for the post of Assistant Primary Teacher.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petitioner is granted liberty to make a detailed representation before the Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24 Parganas, highlighting the discrimination, which has been meted out to him. In the event, such representation is made within four weeks from date, the Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24 Parganas, shall consider the same and render a decision in the matter, supported with cogent reasons, after giving opportunity of hearing to him, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks, but not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of the writ petitioner's representation in terms of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties.
