Section 12(2)(c) in The Uttar Pradesh State Sports University Act, 2021

(c)If such a person is not available then the Vice-Chancellor shall be a person who has not attained the age of sixty-two years on the date of nomination and who shall:-
(i)be an eminent educationist; or
(ii)be a renowned physical educationist and sportsperson; or
(iii)be a researcher with excellent research work published in reputed National or International periodical journals and holds a Doctorate Degree in the field of physical education .
