Section 39(3) in Tamil Nadu Minor Inams (Abolition and Conversion Into Ryotwari) Act, 1963
(3)No Court shall, in enforcing any claim or liability against the inamdar or any other person aforesaid allow interest at a rate exceeding six per cent per annum simple interest for the period commencing on the appointed day and ending with the date on which the earliest deposit in pursuance of this Act is made in the office of the Tribunal.
