(2)The input tax credit to which a registered dealer is entitled under sub-section (1) shall be the amount of tax paid by the registered dealer to the seller on his turnover of purchase of goods during the tax period, calculated, subject to the provisions contained in sub-section (3), (4) and (5), in such manner as may be prescribed.
