5. Forms, language, character and arrangement of registers.
- The registers shall be written in such forms, languages and character, and shall be arranged in such manner not being inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as the Board from time to time may direct for each district.[* * * * *] [The second paragraph of Section 5 repealed, in Western Bengal by Bengal Act 2 of 1906, and in Eastern Bengal by E.B. & A.
