Section 29(z) in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
(z)the compilation and maintenance of records the statistics relating to the administration and functions of the Corporation under this Act; and(za)the fulfilment of any other obligation imposed by or under this Act or any other law in force for the time being.
