(2)Finance Committee shall have the following functions, namely:-(i)To examine the annual accounts and budget estimates of the University and to advice the Board thereon;(ii)To review the financial position of the University from time to time;(iii)To make recommendations to the Board on all matters relating to the finances of the University;(iv)To make recommendation to the Board on observing utmost economy, bringing out austerity measures and suggesting curbs on wasteful expenditure;(v)To make suitable recommendations to the Board for cost recovery mechanism for both research and teaching to further improve the financial strength of the University.Chapter-VII Affiliation of Colleges and Recognition of Institutions
