Section 45(1) in The Assam Co-operative Societies Act, 1949
(1)Every office bearer of a registered society shall produce documents and books of account, cash balance in his custody, and appear before and furnish such information in regard to the transactions or working of the society as may be required of him by the Registrar or persons authorised by the Registrar in this behalf, and audit officer, arbitral to, liquidator or any persons conducting an inspection or inquiry under the provisions of this act and the rules made thereunder.
