- Every prisoner in the convalescent gang shall ordinarily receive wheaten bread daily. He may, on the order of the Medical Officer, receive up to 450 ml. of milk with 30 gms. of Gur or 120 gms. of meat or dahi daily in addition to the diet to which he is ordinarily entitled. More extras should only be given in lieu of an equivalent of dal in the diet scale.
