10. Functions of Establishment Committee.
(1)The Establishment Committee shall perform the following functions, namely:-(a)recommend to the Board on matters pertaining to the creation of posts of all categories of staff including faculty and abolition thereof and the emoluments and duties attached to such posts;(b)recommend revision of rules relating to recruitment of persons and other matters relating to promotions and matters arising therefrom;(c)shall function as the Appellate Authority and Reviewing Authority for the purposes of Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965.(2)All the recommendations of the Establishment Committee shall be placed before the Board for approval.
