Section 2(5) in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, 2008
(5)"constituent college" means a College established or maintained by the University for providing courses of study qualifying students for admission to the University examinations in accordance with the regulations prescribed and includes a college established or maintained by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in the Stale immediately before the commencement of this Act and transferred to the concerned Technological University subsequently;
