70. Commencement of service.
- Save as otherwise provided by or under these regulations, "service" of an employee shall be deemed to commence from the working day on which an employee reports for duty in an appointment covered by the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Regulations, 2020 at the place and time intimated to him by the Appointing Authority:Provided that if he reports in the afternoon, his service shall commence from the following day.
